Sometime in June, I saw a sensationalist story somewhere in the news about viral TikToks of children destroying their Chromebooks. Later that SAME day, every parent/guardian in my daughter’s district was treated to a STERNLY WORDED email about how our child is not allowed to destroy their Chromebook. This McSweeney’s story came directly from imagining ways it *could* be possible.
